8. Green reception Hall

Above the door hangs a reproduction of a picture of Miramare Castle on the Adriatic coast, which was built by the later Mexican Emperor, Maximilian I of Habsburg. On the right side along the wall you can see Neo-rococo-style furniture (around 1850), carved from beech wood. There is a stand on the table, which was used to store jewelry. On the wall there are portraits of Johann Soos and his wife, Maria (1821) and also a boxed frame clock from the middle of the 19th century with the face of the god of sun, Apollo, on a pendulum.

On the left side of the room there is a salon from the early Biedermeier period (around 1820), when simple, elegant furniture shapes were preferred, on which the beauty of wood stood out.

Above the sofa thereee are portraits of Elizabeth and Samuel and Demiány, the parents of Július Demiány. They are from 1820 to 1825 and were painted by the most important Slovak Biedermeier painter - Jozef Czauczik from Levoča.

In one corner thereis a bust of the Austrian Emperor Ferdinand V.

The carpet comes from the Caucasus region (19th century). In the other corner there is an Empire writing secretary with Egyptian elements (1810) and many secret areas. Next to it you can find a chest of drawers with secret drawers. Above there is a portrait of an unknown man by Karol Jakobey (1868).
